DIRECTIONS
Driving on the N2 coming from Cape Town; just past the Peregrine Farm Stall;
Turn right (towards the ocean) into Viljoenshoop Rd.
Continue following the road for exactly 6km. (Ignore the turnoffs to the Appletiser Rd & Highlands Rd).
The entrance to Almenkerk is on the left hand side.

WINE TASTING
Guests are welcomed in our tasting room, which is really more like our living room! We offer both relaxed wine tastings and more technical tastings, depending on your preference.
Arrange in advance and we can also give cellar tours as part of the experience. We make a point of always have a family member available that can answer any of your in-depth questions.
GET OUTDOORS
Come hike our new 5km hiking trail, Active@Almenkerk, that takes one through fynbos, apple and pear orchards, vineyards, and over streams, up and down two “kloof’s on the Almenkerk Wine Estate. There are 7 Activity Stations along the route to add a FUN element; with signboards explaining the activity station’s exercise. Information Boards along the route explain topics of biodiversity of fauna & flora in the region, the farming activities and how they fit into sustainable farming as well as info on the Kogelberg Biosphere. Join us for a day of fun, your permit gets you a free glass of wine at our cellar after you finish the hike. What better way to end an awesome experience than trying one of your lovely wines. DE BRASSERIE BISTRO
Did you know that we have a family restaurant on the beach front in Strand? True to our roots, De Brasserie is a Belgian inspired bistro that serves world-class food in a beautiful setting.
The De Brasserie menu offers continental inspired cuisine. Enjoy a varied selection of European influenced starters and salads, excellent beef, fresh seafood dishes and exquisite desserts. Of course, our wines are also on the menu and are conveniently available for purchase, by the case, at cellar door prices.
