Life is beautiful on Almenkerk Wine Estate. We had some wonderful feedback on our wine, the Almenkerk Sauvignon blanc 2009. We received a GOLD MEDAL at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Our visitors and recenly Neil Pendock have been raving about the wine. To top that off, the new 2010 John Platter Guide has rewarded two of our wines with a 4-star rating.

We have picked all our grapes for 2010. Harvest is over! Meanwhile our Shiraz is the surprise of the season. Concentrated fruit and a beautiful structure. The Sauvignons for 2010 are looking very promising! We have some wonderful building blocks to make this vintage a memorable one!
